Questions before installing a new floor?

Answers to common questions before booking your estimate.

Do I need to remove my old floor first?

It depends on the existing material and the condition underneath. We review the floor first and recommend what needs to be removed or prepared.

Can I choose my own flooring material?

Yes. We can install flooring from your preferred supplier, and we can also recommend trusted suppliers and material options based on your space, budget and project needs.

Can you install LVP over concrete?

Yes. LVP can be installed over concrete when the surface is clean, stable and ready for installation.

Do I need leveling before installing a new floor?

Not always. Some floors need grinding or self-leveling if the surface is uneven, damaged or not ready for the final finish.

What affects the final price?

The final price depends on the floor type, existing condition, removal, adhesive cleanup, grinding, leveling, repairs and overall project scope.

Do you install tile and LVP?

Yes. We install LVP and tile, and can review other flooring options depending on your project.

Can I send photos before booking?

Yes. You can send photos of your floor so we can better understand the project before the free estimate.

Is the work backed by warranty?

Yes. ABCA provides warranty on approved work, with the details confirmed based on the service and project scope.
